Marlins taste like crap any ways, had it once.  No need to try it again, stick with Mahi and Tuna, they are quick to reproduce and grow very fast.

Marlin may taste like sh** but it doesn't make the fact that they are being over fished any better.  Which brings up a interesting point about conservation.  How many of you out there think conservation is the responsibility of the individual hunter, trapper, or fisherman?

The actual catch to kill ratio is very low for the rec guy, not sure about the commerical number.  Most of Central America is a catch and release fishery already. The governments need to regulate the commerical guys a lil bit more.

I agree commerical guys are the problem not the rec guys!!!
